These are my entries into Penny Arcade's JadeClaw haiku contest. I was not one of the two winners, it probably had something to do with not getting my submissions in before the deadline, but I like 'em and I'm posting them here for your viewing pleasure.

Snow melts from the hills
Collecting in small still pools
Ducks like these a lot
Sun warms the snow fields
Resurrecting an old foe
Samurai Sniffles
Rain falls like shed tears
On to my unsheathed blade
Need WD-40
Leaves fall, summer ends
Buried beneath a white field
Until green grass grows
Food supplies are low
Winter's famine is spring's gain
Mapeley goodness
